I take full responsibility for what happened—there’s no excuse for me firing up that thing without thinking through the consequences. I know this isn’t just about a silly accident; it’s about trust and safety, and I completely understand if you’re feeling betrayed or angry. You trusted me, and I let you down in the worst possible way. I want to be clear that I’m not trying to brush this off or make light of it (even if I’m trying to keep the tone light here). To make sure this never happens again, I’m getting rid of the flamethrower and committing to safer, less fiery hobbies—maybe knitting or something less likely to cause, you know, accidental incinerations.
